Dubai, UAE – October 19, 2025 – Dubai is taking a major leap toward becoming a global technology hub with the launch of several ambitious artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives aimed at accelerating the city’s digital transformation.

Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, the initiatives were unveiled during the second 2025 meeting of the Higher Committee for Future Technology Development and the Digital Economy.

The new measures include the establishment of a state-of-the-art AI platform, a dedicated task force for future technologies, and a start-up support program designed to nurture innovation across key sectors. These programs are aimed at helping Dubai leverage AI to improve efficiency, optimize city services, and strengthen its position as a global smart city.

Speaking at the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of technology in shaping Dubai’s future, saying, “Investing in artificial intelligence and supporting innovative start-ups is key to ensuring that Dubai remains a global leader in technology and innovation. Our goal is to make Dubai the fastest and smartest city in adopting cutting-edge solutions.”
